Following the earthquake centered in Hyuga-nada, Miyazaki Prefecture, which occurred on Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a "the Nankai Trough Earthquake Extra Information protocol". Students, faculty members, and staff are asked to lead their normal lives, and to pay attention to the following further information from the Japan Meteorological Agency. Many of you will be traveling during the summer vacation. Please be prepared for disasters by checking evacuation sites and routes in advance. If a major earthquake of intensity 5 or higher occurs in Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, or Kanagawa, you will receive a safety confirmation e-mail from the university to your university e-mail address. In that case, please click the URL in the body of the safety confirmation e-mail and reply with your safety information. If you do not receive a safety confirmation e-mail due to a major earthquake, please connect tohttps://anpic10.jecc.jp/ocha and follow the instructions on the screen.
